Fall Fog is Here Drive Safe!

Fall fog is here and it’s super thick today!

 

Here’s three great tips to remember when driving in the fog around Whatcom County and beyond this Fall.

  • Slow down. Driving at normal speeds in fog can be very dangerous. Give yourself ample room to stop.
  • Always use your headlights, never brights. Avoid using high-beam headlights in fog as consists of tiny water droplets that spread and reflect light.
  • Stay focused on the road. Driving in fog is not a time for multi-tasking. Your viability is reduced and it’s important to be proactive when driving.
